This place was fantastic. We LOVED LOVED LOVED the Rohan duck but every single dish was great. We also loved being able to bring in our own bottle of wine. Great service, and as someone in a wheelchair, I was able to get in the restaurant with ease (and helpful staff who brought our the ramp in for us). Overall the perfect spot for people who enjoy food and want a nice date night/celebration spot.

Wow. I don't give out 5 stars lightly. This place is awesome. Tasty/creative food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Highly recommend sitting at the kitchen bar top and chatting with chefs. Amongst all the recent overrated relative newbies, this is a great addition to the Southie dining scene.

Loved the squid ink seafood pasta. Duck was perfectly executed and flavorful. Bring a sweater to wear inside if it's cold outside.

Lovely dinner here. Ambiance and service is great. I'd love to come again to try a different seasonal menu. Scallop 10/10 - the smoky bacon flavor was good in the purée and scallop was cooked perfectly Squash custard 8/10- tasted very similar to the puree before because of the bacon so it felt more like a part 2 of the scallops. Flavors worked well. Tomato saffron octopus soup with flatbread 10/10- delicious delicate flavors with perfectly cooked octopus, homemade bread was good, a little oily for me Skate wing 7/10- I wasn't in love with the crust/breading, tasted too oily but I enjoyed the Swiss chard Persimmon, cornbread, sea buckthorn 5/10- the sea buckthorn cream tasted a little funky, cornbread tasted ok and dry, I wish they kept the persimmon's original state because it's cooked down like cinnamon apples so you lose the unique flavor and texture of the persimmon

Tiny 20 seat space with delicious prix fixe. They have a BYOB license so bring your favorite wine or pop around the corner and pick up a bottle. Friendly and attentive service. Easy parking a short walk away at the Channel Garage.

I enjoyed my meal at Lenox Sophia. The restaurant is a small intimate place and I had nice conversations with the owner and the other chef while they cooked. Super nice guys. Food is made with simple ingredients but is very fresh and well executed. I plan to eat here again when the menu shifts to the autumn ingredients. I suggest trying this place out for the friendly staff and to see how simple ingredients with good execution can equal great food. Scallop ceviche- came on a potato square which was nice and crunchy on outside and tender on inside. Came with a nice acidic sauce. Scallop was nice and tender. 4/5 Pea custard- delicious. Nice vegetative flavor flavor with just a hint of salt. The custard was nice and velvety. The whole peas had a nice bite and added good texture. 5/5 Rice and peas with crawfish- very simple. Scallions or green onion added a nice flavor. The rice was nicely cooked. The crawfish was nicely cooked too. 4/5 Lamb shoulder perfectly cooked. A Delicious savory sauce. Mushrooms added nice flavor as well 5/5 Strawberry pound cake. This was a light dessert. It was not as moist as I would have liked and was a little too light on flavor- in my opinion . Left a bit to be desired. 3.5/5

It was good! I came here for Valentine's Day - it was a small place hidden on a side street in Southfield. The vegetarian tasting menu was different - I do think the portions were a little tiny for the price but an experience. It's a really cute and small place - the lighting made it very intimate and romantic.

Amazing meal for a birthday dinner at such a cozy and intimate setting. BYOB for wine is fun, and servers are very attentive due to the smaller seating capacity. I can tell they use fresh and seasonal ingredients that are well flavored, balanced, and creative in each dish (and plated beautifully). They change their prix fixe menu often, so it would be fun to come back another time for more (and perhaps sit at the chef's counter)!

Wow. Incredible. Flavors are cohesive and fresh, not too crazy that a traditionalist wouldn't appreciate it. I stopped by with no reservation on a Tuesday night with my mother, we saw a few more seat fill up while we were there. I ordered the vegetarian, she the omnivore. They were more similar than the menu made them out to be, but the flavors for both were tailored to the dish perfectly. I would go back again in a heartbeat. Pea pudding thing was incredible, duck was probably the best I've ever had. One note is that the "foam" for dessert is far more of a cream than a foam. Service of course was incredible too, ambience is homey yet contemporary like a chef's kitchen. I cannot wait to eat here again.
